UMRAH TRAVEL AGENCY MOBILE APPLICATION SYSTEM

Umrah travel agency mobile application is a unified platform for the users to customize their plan and book for umrah. Since there are many Umrah travel agencies offer various packages, there would be a possibility of users being scammed or hoax. In order to prepare themselves before performing the Umrah, users need to search for an umrah travel agency which suits with their budget and preferences. It consumes lots of time for them to search for each of the available packages offered by the travel agencies. Currently, most of the customers are doing their survey either by browsing through all the umrah agencies in Malaysia, from the pamphlets/flyers received or even from other peoples’ opinions or suggestions. It is quite difficult for them to decide and end up they spend longer time in making the right decision. The objective of this project is to develop a unified platform for the Umrah travel agency via mobile application which allows users to customize their plan and booking for their preferred umrah travel agency. An agile methodology is used for the development of this mobile application with Flutter function as the cross-platform framework. To test the functionality and acceptance of the mobile application, an online survey was distributed to the users. Respondents were divided into three (3) categories which are the User, Travel agency and System admin. The results proved that the Umrah Travel Agency mobile application able to facilitate users in booking the umrah package themselves and provides Do-it-Yourself (DIY) service which can suggest the package and travel agency based on users’ requirements and preferences. The mobile application also able to facilitate the travel agency in managing their package, DIY service and booking information. The implementation of the Umrah travel agency mobile application give benefits to people who wants to perform their umrah by choosing the right package based on their preferences. It will also protect the users from being scammed as the platform will ensure only trusted and reliable information are given by the umrah travel agency. Thus, an end-to-end secured activity can be assured which complies with the requirements of the Shariah.
