Abstract
Covid 19 pandemic outbreak since 2019 causes new norms that affect many sectors directly and indirectly. Knowing of this dangerous outbreak, which is fatal to life, many new inventions and improvement of the business and educational process to accomplish routine works. Since the introduction of virtual classroom using online platform such as Webex, Google Meet etc. quickly eases the burden of lecturers and students to continue the delivering and sharing knowledge. However, at the end of semester new problem aroused, resulted due to no physical and face-to-face class, academic process such as assessments and examinations, document management of students’ evaluation become a new problem because it cannot be submitted through hard copies as usual. Thus, Institute of Continuing Education & Professional Studies (iCEPS) proposed a new idea in managing the confidential documents such as LE15s, assessment marks, PLOs and examinations using a new platform. iCEPS through its Distance Learning Department and Information Technology Services Division joint together to develop an online system named as an exam System to cater the problem in managing and handling securely, effectively and efficiently the confidential and sensitive information and documents of students' assessment marks and answer scripts. The system was launched on 14th July 2021, the system is deemed to satisfy and meet the requirements of the end-users from academicians and administrators in its accessibility and user-friendliness.
